Bonus Pastor Hosts Guernsey Educators for Digital Learning Exchange
BackOn Friday, January 17th, Mr. E. Clarke welcomed nine teachers and senior leaders from the island of Guernsey to Bonus Pastor Catholic College. The visit focused on sharing Bonus Pastor's successful approach to digital strategy and the effective integration of 1:1 Chromebooks across the school.
The day commenced with an overview of Bonus Pastor's comprehensive digital strategy and its alignment with the school's overall teaching and learning framework. A key highlight was a student panel discussion where Guernsey educators had the opportunity to directly engage with Bonus Pastor students. This invaluable interaction provided valuable insights into the impact of Chromebooks on student learning from the students' own perspectives.
Following the panel, the Guernsey delegation embarked on a school tour, observing first and how Chromebooks are effectively utilised in various classrooms. Teachers shared their experiences and best practices with their Guernsey counterparts. The day concluded with a demonstration of how Bonus Pastor leverages the Google Workspace to enhance and personalise student learning.
