A SIF (which includes the Certificate of Catholic Practice) MUST be completed in all cases (even if you wish to apply for a sibling, via the EHCP/SENDCo Route or as a non-Catholic applicant) for a place to be considered.

SIF form for Bonus Pastor Catholic College - Admission 2025 - NEW

These will be available at the Open Events in September and on this website after these have been held.

Pages 1 & 2 and Section B of the Supplementary Information Form must be completed by the applicant’s parents/carers. Section C (The Certificate of Catholic Practice) must be completed by your local priest/minister. This must be returned to the college, with a copy of baptism / dedication certificates, before your application can be considered.

The SIF can be downloaded and completed (it cannot be completed as an online form) before passing to your Priest/Minister for completion. Hard copies are also available from the Reception Desk at both the Winlaton and Churchdown sites.

Without it, your application made via the Lewisham e-admissions website will not be considered for this school, even if you name Bonus Pastor Catholic College as one of your six choices of schools.

The SIF form will be available at the Open Evening, Open Mornings and here after they have taken place.

Admissions Information

The college is conducted by its Governing Body as part of the Catholic Church in accordance with its trust deed and Instrument of Government and seeks at all times to be a witness to Jesus Christ.

The Governing Body has responsibility for admissions to the college and intends to admit 180 students to Year 7 in September each year.

Please note: All applications are verified and in order to do this, the following lists are used:

  • Catholics include members of the Ordinariate and the Latin and Oriental Rite Churches that are in union with the Bishop of Rome.
  • Children of families who are members of other Christian denominations that are part of Churches Together in England.
  • Evidence of Baptism (or dedication) provided by a priest or minister of a designated place of worship will be required.

Appeals for the September 2025 Year 7 Transition to Secondary School

The Appeal Hearings will be held in late June/early July 2025. Appeals will be held via a zoom Conference Call, video and/or audio call.

Having looked at the admissions policy and Criteria, if you feel you have grounds for appeal, you must complete and return the appeal form (with any supporting documents) by Wednesday 30th April 2025.
